The second meeting of the Islamic Foundation Advisory took place on Wednesday 23 May 2012 at Markfield.

Dr Manazir Ahsan welcomed three members of the Board who were not present in the first meeting; Bishop Tim Stevens, Bishop of Leicester, Mehri Niknam, Executive Director Joseph Foundation and Sheikh Ibrahim Mogra.

The Board received updates from the departments of the Islamic Foundation and commented on the progress being made. The members offered invaluable advice which the team at the Foundation hopes to follow up on.

Two meetings of the Advisory Board are proposed to be held annually and the next meeting will take place later in the year.
