Library
The Library is housed in a newly
built, spacious premises with all research facilities for visiting
scholars, research staff and students of the Markfield Institute
of Higher Education (MIHE), as well as External Users.
The unique Library was
established in 1973, in Highfields, Leicester, and is now located
in Markfield, Leicestershie (UK) within The Islamic Foundation which
seeks to present Islam as a living reality in the West

Library
Resources
There are over 30,000 titles in English, Arabic, Urdu and other
languages. The Arabic section covers literature on: Qur’an,
Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic History, Da’wah and Islamic Movement.
There are over 100 Journal
Titles. The Journal section with it’s multi-lingual selection
covers Middle Eastern Studies, Muslim Christian Relations, the Muslim
World, South East Asia, Islamic Economics and Current Affairs.
Islamic Economics section
consists of research material from the Muslim world including 4,000
photographic slides including Islamic Arts, Architecture & Science.

Books and journals can be easily searched on our library computers
which are compatible in English and Arabic. Searches can be made
by; Titles, Authors, Subjects or Keywords.
