Review of Islamic EconomicsReview of Islamic Economics

The Review of Islamic Economics is the journal of the International Association of Islamic Economics and the Islamic Foundation. It is a refereed Journal and is currently published from the U.K. in English with abstracts in Arabic. From the beginning of 2002, it will be a biannual journal. It provides a forum to the specialists wishing to contribute to the development of Islamic economics as a distinct branch of knowledge. The Review solicits research articles in the field of Islamic Economics, banking and finance.

Major areas of interest for the Journal include:
  • Theoretical issues in economics dealt with from Islamic perspective;
  • Empirical studies about the economies of Muslim countries;
  • Applied Islamic economics, e.g. Islamic banking;
  • Survey articles in various fields of Islamic economics

The Review aims to present relevant documents on the aspects of Islamic Economics together with Book and Conference Reviews, and features Islamic Economics Diary.

The Muslim World Book ReviewMuslim World Book Review
A quarterly journal published since 1980. MWBR critically analyses the views expressed in the West and in the East on a variety of publications related to the Muslim world. The journal is rich in information and its sharp and incisive criticism, analysis and suggestions go a long way in promoting a better understanding of the Muslim world. The MWBR covers a wide range of books reviewed by reputed international scholars.

Encounters Journal Encounters: Journal of Inter-Cultural Perspectives
A bi-annual journal that seeks to promote a spirit of dialogue and mutual understanding between people of different religions and persuasions. Encounters aims to provide a forum for a meticulous analysis and discussion of inter-religious dialogue, Islam and the West and Islamic resurgence.
