Recent tragic events in Austria and France in particular have highlighted once again for us the evil acts that people sometimes claim to do in the name of religion.
We are fortunate to have good amenities in the village and the Markfield Health Centre and Markfield Post Office have been taking care of staff and students’ health and post now for almost 30 years.
The Foundation has actively furthered its connection with the local community by inviting Markfield village residents to our site for a tour and a cup of tea.
The mayor of Hinckley and Bosworth Borough council, councillor Jeffrey Bannister, opened a unique exhibition at the Islamic Foundation in Markfield on Tuesday 4th November 2014.
A charity established in UK in 1973, dedicated to research, publishing, education, community support and inter-faith dialogue. Set amidst almost 10 Acres in Markfield, it provides a tranquil environment for studying. The site houses a Masjid, an extensive library, a residential conference centre and a bookshop.
