A group of officials from various Federal and State Religious Affairs Ministries of Malaysia visited the Islamic Foundation on Thu 7th Nov 2019. They were senior executives within their organisations dealing with a range of Islamic issues, from training of the religious advisors, preparing bills for the parliament, managing Zakat platforms to dealing with the needs of the converts and developing educational programmes and Halal certification service. The delegation was led by Mohammad Zul Fadhli, Head of Centre of Islamic Studies and Training Sabah and Czarina Alia Abdul Razak, Managing Director of Matiin Education Services, Malaysia.
The delegation met Farooq Murad, CEO, and held a session to discuss the challenges facing their institutions and explore areas of cooperation. They also met Batool Toma of the New Muslim Project to discuss convert care programmes.
