Markfield Conference Centre

Set in the beautiful countryside at the heart of rural England, the Markfield Conference Centre offers voluntary and youth groups and community organisations an ideal venue for their conferences, seminars, training programmes or even social events. With excellent access by road, rail and air, we offer excellent facilities and services at affordable prices for full board or day conferences.

The Islamic Foundation owns and runs a self-contained residential conference/retreat facility within its complex. The Markfield Conference Centre provides a pleasant venue for gatherings, conferences and training programmes. It is used by various groups of Muslims and non-Muslims from Britain and abroad. The Centre can cater for up to seventy people with single bedroom accommodation and a meeting place for two hundred people. The Centre provides an invaluable conference facility, and is one of the very few such resources available to Muslims. Often the conference facilities are offered at subsidized rates for events and gatherings run by community organizations and voluntary groups.

Conference Facilities

Our modern conference facilities are available to hire for groups of up to 150 people. We have four unique conference rooms. They range from the large Conference Hall, to smaller spaces which can be used as break out rooms or for smaller gatherings that accommodate from 12 to 60 people.

Conference Hall
This is our largest conference room and can seat up to 150 people. It is fully equipped with audio / visual equipment and a PA system. The room can be set up in a variety of seating configurations to suit the event.

Meeting Rooms

• Room 1: Is located on the first floor of the Conference Centre and can be either used as a break out room or for holding meetings and can accommodate up to 20 people.
• Room 2: Is located Is located on the first floor of the Conference Centre and can be either used as a break out room or for holding meetings and can accommodate up to 12 people.
• IF Seminar Room: This Room is located in the Islamic Foundation Main Building. It is ideal for meetings of up to 40 people. The seating can be arranged in a variety of styles to suit the event. This room has a small kitchenette and a projector screen.

Residential Accommodation

• We have 44 single rooms in two residential blocks.
• Our bedrooms are comfortable and simply furnished and 8 of the rooms have ensuite facilities. All floors have toilets and shower facilities
• Each of the two residential blocks has a lounge with fully fitted kitchens that provide Coffee/Tea or refreshment making facilities

Catering Facilities

Our Dining Room can seat up to 80 people and serves food and refreshments that is freshly prepared on the premises daily. It is an ideal venue for Receptions or Buffet lunches or Banquet dinners in an attractive and unique setting. You can choose from a wide variety of menus that caters to different tastes and preferences, please discuss your requirements with our Bookings team.
