The Islamic Foundation is horrified by the brutal terrorist attacks today, the holy day of Easter Sunday, on churches and hotels in Sri Lanka. According to latest reports 137 innocent people have been killed and many hundreds are injured.
The Islamic Foundation is horrified by the brutal terrorist attack on the worshipers on the holy day of Friday at the two mosques in New Zealand. Almost 50 have died, including women and children. Many are seriously wounded. This violence is not only abhorrent desecration of places of worship but also the blessed name of Christchurch.
Desecration of everything Islam Stands For. We are outraged by the attack on London Bridge on Saturday night. The fact that this should happen when millions of Muslims had just broken their fast and were heading to mosques across UK for their evening prayers is beyond belief. This vile attack on innocent people in Ramadan desecrates everything Islam stands for.
We are deeply saddened once again by what took place Yesterday in Brussels. These and horrific attacks have shocked us just days after the atrocities in Istanbul and, as Muslims all around the world continuously emphasise, are against everything that Islam stands for. We send our sincere condolences to the families of those affected and we pray that we see an end to violence of this kind, the world over.
